The Study Team has awarded the contract for the 'cost-benefit' work to a team of consultants: IBI Group (lead consultant), PricewaterhouseCoopers, Collings Johnston Inc., Steadman Associates Inc., Delcan, N.D. Lea Associates, Baker McGarva Hart, Urbanics, Golder Associates, TSi Consultants, and other independent consultants. This group includes planners, engineers, environmental consultants, architects, and financial advisors.

This phase - Phase 2 - will run for approximately 6 months, from October 2000 through to March/April 2001. During this time, the cost-benefit analysis, which will look at the environmental, social, financial, land use and transportation costs and benefits of a rapid transit line; the future of the Pacific Gateway; and the role rapid transit may play in both the corridor and the region; will be analysed and discussed with communities.

The results of the cost-benefit analysis are currently being presented to the public through a series of open houses. These results are also available on this website (see 'Project - Study Findings'). If you would like to participate in the open houses, please see our open house schedule, also on-line. Furthermore, if you would like to share your thoughts with us, please complete one of our on-line surveys or send us your thoughts to: info@yourcity2010.com.
